My 14 hour day paid off!

I presented one of the many homework assignments that I was working on all day Sunday and I must say, I am proud of myself. I think I did a great job and I was really happy with the outcome. My professor really enjoyed it, too! Read this encouraging e-mail she sent.

“Your presentation was absolutely phenomenal. We could tell you put a great deal of thought and effort into it and were so glad that you went first to set the bar so high for the others. If possible, I would love to make a copy of the videos you have from the kids at ILE* and the powerpoint. With your permission, I think it would serve as a great example for future classes. Honestly, my only regret is that we didn’t videotape your presentation!”

Oh yeah :) Now I just have to get through the next two weeks of finals! good luck everyone!

*ILE stands for Ivey Lane Elementary school, where I did research and observations. Here is a picture of some of the cute kids I worked with!
